Playtech Jacks or Better Video Poker

As you can see, there are several Jacks or Better machines available. For the highest J or B RTP, pick the standard 1-hand Jacks or Better with the paytable 800-50-25-9-6-4-3-2-1. Yes, the 4-hand Jacks or Better with the same paytable has the same theoretical RTP, but RTP is calculated assuming perfect play, and it is not reasonable to assume that one will achieve perfect play when playing four hands simultaneously and not being able to make an individual decision for each individual hand.

Also, stay away from the Jacks or Better Multihand unless you really want to play many hands simultaneously and do care about the statistical RTP. While the 1-hand J or B with the paytable 800-50-25-9-6-4-3-2-1 has an RTP of 99.54 percent, the Jacks or Better Multihand has an RTP of just 97.30 percent – even if you only play one hand per round.

Jacks or Better Progressive has the lowest RTP of all the Playtech Jacks or Better machines in this list, but will give you the chance of winning a progressive jackpot. The expected value can be quite nice when the progressive jackpot has grown really big. However, the fact that you need to play 10 hands simultaneously will throw a monkey wrench into any hopes of perfect play.

Two Ways Royal Video Poker

Two Ways Royal video poker from Playtech, also known as 2 Ways Royal, sports an attractive RTP of 99.80 percent. The paytable acknowledges two different Royal Straight Flush hands – a high one and a low one.

  • The high Royal Straight Flush is the one were used to from other poker games, i.e. Ten – Jack – Queen – King – Ace of the same suit.
  • The low Royal Straight Flush consists of 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 of the same suit.

In Two Ways Royal video poker, the payouts for high Royal Straight Flush and low Royal Straight Flush are the same: 4 000 coins on a 5 coin bet (i.e. 800 x max bet).

The rest of the paytable is similar to what we find on ordinary Jacks or Better video poker machines, but with somewhat lower payouts to compensate for the presence of two high-paying Royal Straight Flush hands. Still, an RTP of 99.80 percent is not bad.

Video poker with progressive jackpot

Jacks or Better 10-hand progressive (also known as Jacks or Better 10-line) is a video poker machine from Playtech where you can win a progressive jackpot.

The game is played just like standard Jacks or Better video poker, but always 10 simultaneous hands per round. The main hand takes up most of the screen, and this is the hand for which you will be allowed to make a choice. This choice will then be applied to all the other nine hands as well.

To win the progressive jackpot, you need a Royal Straight Flush on your MAIN HAND on a max bet. If you get a Royal Straight Flush on any other hand, you will not receive the progressive jackpot.
