Video poker strategy for Full Pay Classic Deuces Wild

Deuces WildThis video poker strategy is for Full Pay Classic Deuces Wild, where you need three of a kind or better to win. Is is a basic strategy that is easy to remember and follow, but it is not the optimal strategy. However, since the theoretical return of this strategy and optimal strategy are so close to each other, we have opted for this strategy here on Video Poker Daddy.

The strategy is suitable for Deuces Wild with the following pay out structure for max bets, provided that you bet max bets:

Hand Pays
Natural Royal Straight Flush(A Royal Straight Flush without any wild card) 800
4 Deuces 200
Wild Royal Straight Flush(A Royal Straight Flush with at least one wild card) 25
Five of a kind 15
Straight flush 9
Four of a kind 5
Full house 3
Flush 2
Straight 2
Three of a kind 1

Strategy

Pick a table according to how many deuces your starter hand contains.

Then, start at the top of the table and stop at the first row that accurately describes your start hand. It is possible to get a start hand that is accurately described by more than one row in the table, so it is important to always find the uppermost accurate description and not proceed further down in the table once you have found a correct description of your starter hand.

If you can not find your start hand in any table, discard all five cards.

N.B! Two pair is not in any of these tables but one pair is. If the topmost description that fits your start hand is a pair, keep the pair and discard the other three cards even if it means destroying a two pair hand. Remember, this is not Jacks or Better. Two pair does not pay; you need three of a kind or better to get paid.
